Per dag komen er zo’n 20 patiënten voorbij op de afdeling fysiotherapie in Takoradi. Veel daarvan hebben lokaal bekende aandoeningen zoals beroertes, Bell’s ziekte en Erb’s. De behandeling doen ze hier met gebruik van de fitnessapparatuur en het onderwijzen van de patiënt met oefeningen die ze thuis kunnen doen. Je vrije tijd kun je besteden aan het verkennen van de vele, ontzagwekkende plaatsen die Ghana te bieden heeft. Oude watervallen, afgelegen dorpen en kusten met gouden stranden.
