Met de mogelijkheid om je te concentreren op specialisaties, zoals kinderen met HIV, of juist op het ervaren van de breedte van de diensten van ons partnerziekenhuis, zal je vrijwillige stage in Dar Es Salaam op maat worden samengesteld op basis van jou en je interesses. En dankzij het werken in ons partnerziekenhuis met een aantal van de beste faciliteiten en onderwijspraktijken in Tanzania, doe je een flinke dosis nieuwe medische kennis op. Als je werkdag voor bij is, is het slechts een ritje met de bus naar de Kilimanjaro, dus alle reden om de 5-daagse klim naar de top af te leggen. Onze studenten delen hieronder hun ervaring!

I had the chance to monitor and examine women during labour and perform a large number of deliveries. I was also able to get involved when women needed interventions such as putting in catheters, cannulas and also performing artificial rupture of membranes, episiotomies and suturing post partum.
